Last year, the folks at Undi18, which is a non-partisan youth advocacy group, organised a little Parlimen Digital, a virtual parliamentary sitting run and participated by youths. The event was highly successful and earned praise from the media, activists and politicians alike.
This year, the Undi18 folks are back with something that looks bigger and better: Dewan Muda Malaysia (DMM), a two-year programme aimed at promoting greater political participation among Malaysian youths. Qyira Yusri and Tharma Pillai, the co-founders of Undi18, discuss this project with BFM.
